Lacy White Bluebird

Lacy White Bluebird's body is created from a lacy white art glass. Accents are in opaque white, cobalt blue, black and purple. Display all year round. Approximate size: 5"w x 2.5"h x 3/8"d.

Incidental Bird Fact:
Bluebirds are family orientated birds. They can reach speeds of up to 17 miles per hour. Nests are made of grass, pine needles, fur and twigs.

- All art work is handmade by Robert Wiener in the DC Art Glass Studio. Kilnforming is a method of shaping glass in a kiln using heat and gravity. Techniques used by the artist include fusing, slumping, casting, printmaking and coldworking. It is common of kilnformed glass to have slight color shifts and small "champagne" bubbles.
