Green Spring Collage Bird's primary body is created from a clear art glass with random patterns of green, blue, aqua, pink and black. Accents are in translucent light green and aventurine green. Aventurine glass imitates the mineral of the same name. It includes flakes that give it sparkle. Each bird is unique. Display all year round. Approximate size: 5"w x 2.5"h x 3/8"d.

Spring is when bird's favorite food sources start re-appearing. They'll feed on leaf and plant bulbs, berries, seeds and nuts, earthworms, and insects.

- All art work is handmade by Robert Wiener in the DC Art Glass Studio. Kilnforming is a method of shaping glass in a kiln using heat and gravity. Techniques used by the artist include fusing, slumping, casting, printmaking and coldworking. It is common of kilnformed glass to have slight color shifts and small "champagne" bubbles.
