Voter Songbird

Voter Bird's primary body is created from a transparent deep royal blue art glass. Like the Patriot Bird, accents are in red, white and blue. Favorite hangout of the Voter Bird: local polling stations across the country. Display all year round. Approximate size: 5"w x 2.5"h x 3/8"d.

Incidental Bird Fact:
The Amercian Birding Association declared the Cedar Waxwing as voted 2020 Bird of the Year. Previous winners include: Tropicbird (2019), Iiwi (2018), Ruddy Turnstone (2017), Green Heron (2015), Rufous Hummingbird (2014).

- All art work is handmade by Robert Wiener in the DC Art Glass Studio. Kilnforming is a method of shaping glass in a kiln using heat and gravity. Techniques used by the artist include fusing, slumping, casting, printmaking and coldworking. It is common of kilnformed glass to have slight color shifts and small "champagne" bubbles.
