Pink Streamer Lovebird

Pink Streamer is created from clear art glass that has pink streamers running through it. Accents are in white, red, black and bubble gum pink. Yes, bubble gum pink! Each bird's streamers are unique. Display all year round. Approximate size: 5"w x 2.5"h x 3/8"d.

Incidental Bird Fact:
Upon a long separation or stressful period, breeding pairs of lovebirds are known to feed each other to re-establish their bond. If a mate dies or gets separated, its companion will most likely exhibit erratic behavior.

- All art work is handmade by Robert Wiener in the DC Art Glass Studio. Kilnforming is a method of shaping glass in a kiln using heat and gravity. Techniques used by the artist include fusing, slumping, casting, printmaking and coldworking. It is common of kilnformed glass to have slight color shifts and small "champagne" bubbles.
