Summary

This one-day session expands on fused glass basics with a concentration on circles. The day begins with a quick review of the basics followed by a simple refresher project. Participants will then take part in a general discussion of techniques used to create glass circles and round objects. This discussion is designed to inspire the student to continue their fused glass education and studio experience, exploring more complex techniques. The remaining time will be spent on two circle projects. Over the next week, student projects will be fired by the instructor. Participants will then be emailed a notification that their art glass pieces are available for pick-up at the studio.

Intro to Fusing II - Circles is ideal for beginners as well as new glass fusers who want to improve upon or brush up on their circle cutting skills and understanding of kilnforming. Prerequisite: Introduction to Fusing I - The Basics, or proven prior fusing experience. All tools and materials are provided for this workshop. Age: Adult/Young Adult
