Summary
This 1+1/2 day session expands on fused glass basics with a concentration on decal transfers. On the first day participants will learn about fusing decals, prepare them for use and create personally designed bases for the decals. During the next few days the bases will be full fused by the instructor. On the second half-day, the transfer process is reviewed. Students will then apply their decals to their bases. Over the next few days, the pieces will go through two additional kiln firings. Students will then receive an email notification that their art glass is available for pick-up at the studio.
Intro to Decals is ideal for glass fusers with at least a basic understanding of fusing and are comfortable with cutting glass. Multiple projects are included. All tools and materials are provided for this workshop. Age: Adult/Young Adult

Studio Safety
Safety comes first. On the day of the class, if any participant has tested positive for COVID, is feeling ill or has a temperature, they are asked not to attend and to reschedule. While every effort is made for a safe environment, by registering to attend a workshop students agree to abide by studio safety guidelines and to participate at their own risk. This policy subject to change.
Cancellation Policy
If for some unforseen reason there is cause for the studio to cancel a workshop, the studio fully reimburses participants (less processing fee). In the event a student makes a cancellation within 10 days of the workshop, they are not reimbursed unless there is a registered replacement in attendance. For all types of refunds, there is a $35 processing fee.
