The satin editions include seven color variations including blue, red, orange, yellow, color mix, color mix strips and black & white. The base, or background, of each ornament is transparent colored glass. Each ornament is unique. Limited quantities. Approximate size & weight: 4"d & 5oz.
- All art work is handmade by Robert Wiener in the DC Art Glass Studio. Kilnforming is a method of shaping glass in a kiln using heat and gravity. Techniques used by the artist include fusing, slumping, casting, printmaking and coldworking. It is common of kilnformed glass to have slight color shifts, imperfect shaping and small "champagne" bubbles.
