Cyan Songbird is created from a opaque light cyan art glass. Accents are in dark cobalt blue, light cyan, black and white. Display all year round. Approximate size: 5"w x 2.5"h x 3/8"d.

Incidental Bird Fact:
The American Robin lays eggs that are a shade of cyan, also known as eggshell blue, robin egg blue or lost egg blue. A group of eggs fertilized at the same time, laid in a single session and incubated together is called a "clutch". The American Robin's clutch consists of three to five cyan colored eggs. Several birds, including the Blue Jay, will prey upon juvenile robins and eggs.

- All art work is handmade by Robert Wiener in the DC Art Glass Studio. Kilnforming is a method of shaping glass in a kiln using heat and gravity. Techniques used by the artist include fusing, slumping, casting, printmaking and coldworking. It is common of kilnformed glass to have slight color shifts and small "champagne" bubbles.
