From the Happy Holidays Ornament Collection. The belt buckle and buttons on Santa's Suit are created using an advanced formulated dichroic glass. Often times dichroic glass is covered with clear glass to give depth. However, this design called for a matte finish, so the clear cap was left off. Belt buckle & button colors vary with each ornament. Limited quantities. Approximate size: 3" x 3.5".
- All art work is handmade by Robert Wiener in the DC Art Glass Studio. Kilnforming is a method of shaping glass in a kiln using heat and gravity. Techniques used by the artist include fusing, slumping, casting, printmaking and coldworking. It is common of kilnformed glass to have slight color shifts, imperfect shaping and small "champagne" bubbles.
