Orange Yellow Songbird is created from a bright mix of orange and yellow art glass. Accents are in yellow, orange, spring green and red. Each bird's body color mix is unique. Display all year round. Approximate size: 5"w x 2.5"h x 3/8"d.
Incidental Bird Fact:
While not classified as a "songbird", the Sun Parakeet does sing and has a tendency to be easily trained and cuddly. It's plumage is bright yellow, orange, blue and green. Also known as the Sun Conure, this bird is a Northeastern South American native.

Techniques used by the artist include fusing, slumping, casting, printmaking and coldworking. It is common of kilnformed glass to have slight color shifts and small "champagne" bubbles.
